Leaving a legacy to Deafblind Scotland in your Will can make a difference to the lives of other people.

For twelve years now Deafblind Scotland has been touching the lives of adults who have lost or are losing both their sight and their hearing. A small but dedicated staff group serves over 330 deafblind adults across Scotland. Many deafblind people rely solely on their sense of touch to communicate, many live alone and many cannot leave their homes safely without assistance.

Deafblind Scotland fights to reduce the extreme isolation experienced by deafblind people by providing services that help to build a sense of belonging and community between deafblind people, their friends, families and carers. These include:

  • Guiding and communication support to perform daily tasks that many of us take for granted.
  • Regular news summaries and magazines, helping deafblind people keep in touch with the world around them.
  • Holidays, outings and activities that can help to encourage deafblind people to develop their skills and abilities.

By remembering Deafblind Scotland in your Will you give deafblind people the special support they need to live their lives to the full.
