Scottish members will have the opportunity to
gain skills in working on a committee and this will be of long-term benefit for
both the organisation and the members.
The group will try to ensure that each age
group, sex, geographical area is represented and also that the various
communication methods used by members are represented.
The development of a working committee of both
deafblind and sighted hearing members which can eventually become truly
representative of Scottish views will take much time and patience, and a lot of
hard work, but it is a goal well worth achieving.
SAGOD will not always meet in Glasgow or
Edinburgh but will meet in different areas to allow more members to
participate. |
