Sensory Impairment - "On the Agenda"

18th September 2001, Quality Station Hotel, Perth

Deafblind Scotland, with the support of Scottish Council on Deafness and the Scottish National Federation for the Welfare for the Blind, will host a conference in Perth on Tuesday 18th September. The conference will provide an opportunity to discuss the implications of the use of the term "sensory impairment" which has begun to replace the terms deaf, blind or deafblind. Speakers will include those with expertise in all three fields. The cost is £25 which includes a buffet lunch. Guides go free.
