PRESS RELEASE
FALKIRK HERALD

Saturday 19th June 2004

Bike-Wise and Deafblind Scotland once again joined forces to arrange the fourth 'Ride and Seek' event, a cycle ride along the canal bank from Kirkintilloch to Falkirk Wheel. More than 90 riders set off to enjoy the 14 mile journey making this year the largest field so far. Local people Stephen Joyce and Louisa Wardlaw successfully completed the ride on the back of tandems. Bike-Wise, Kirkintilloch donated a £100 prize voucher for the person who successfully solved the clues and this year's winner was Maureen Kinnaird from Lenzie. Maureen's prize was presented at the Falkirk Wheel by Deafblind Scotland Director, Michael Anderson, from Larbert. Many thanks to all for their continued support for this local event.
