The Healthy Living for Deafblind People Project is working to improve the physical and mental health of Deafblind people throughout Scotland. It is a joint initiative between Deafblind Scotland and Sense Scotland, with funding from the New Opportunities Fund.

We have now completed our second year and so far the project has already been making progress in many areas...

  • We are producing health information leaflets in accessible formats
  • We offer Deafblind people healthy living advice in their own homes
  • We offer Deafblind Awareness Training to health services and sport and leisure centre staff

If you would like to find out more you can access the Healthy Living for Deafblind People leaflet in PDF format.
