The Edinburgh Marathon: Hairy Haggis Team Relay
S
unday 25th May 08

Want the buzz of running a big marathon but don’t fancy ‘hitting the wall’? Then form a relay team with another three people and run the Edinburgh Marathon to raise much-needed funds for Deafblind Scotland.

The Hairy Haggis Team Relay was introduced to give athletes of all abilities the opportunity to run the marathon course without having to run the whole distance on their own weary limbs. Teams of four will run 26.2 miles between them, with the longest leg being approximately eight miles and the shortest leg five miles.

Each team is expected to raise £360 in sponsorship and each runner to pay a £25 deposit to cover the cost of administering the place.
